IN A NUTSHELL This is a novella that follows the life of Lilli Braithwaite from her college graduation to her life up to the age sixty-three. It’s a portrait of a writer’s life and how she grows into it. Along the way, she creates some innovative things, marries and stays married to a man who loves her unconditionally, becomes the mother of twins, gets involved for a very short time in a disruptive industrial terrorist movement, eventually becomes one of the more prominent environmental activists in the US, and finally becomes a key figure in the Federal government’s plan to ‘green’ the country.
